Salman Khan lived upto his reputation of current box office boss with his latest release. "Dabangg 2" opened to packed houses and film has shattered all opening day record by some distance. Film surpassed every expectation.
Film recorded best figure on opening day in most of the territories and Rajasthan, CI, CP and Delhi/NCR will have new records by tomorrow morning for sure. Mumbai is touch and go so are West Bengal, Mysore and Tamilnadu. Film has shown some interesting trends though. Word of mouth is fairly positive but the count of repeat audience will decide film's final verdict. As there is concern among few whether being too similar to first part will limit the audience from Monday onwards. Overseas is good too but picture will be clearer tomorrow.
As per early estimates, film should collect anywhere among 22.50 to 24 cr nett on Day one. Occuapncy of night and late night shows will determine final figure but one thing is sure that Paandey ji has arrived in style and will have a longer stay at box office.
