Durga Puja is a day when people worship Goddess Durga and hence the day
is also called Durgotsava. On this day, devotees sing Maa Durga songs
and offer their prayers. This festival is mainly celebrated in Eastern
India – largely dominated by states like West Bengal, Assam, Jharkhand,
Orissa and Tripura. Moreover, other states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh,
Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kashmir, Karnataka and Kerala also
celebrate Durga Puja and sing Durga Puja songs.
