3G Movie Review

Rating: 2 Stars(2/5)

Review: 3G is pretty much in vogue these days as it is the latest technology but what if, 3G is not just a way to connect within today’s world but even outside this world! Mind boggling isn’t it? The movie 3G is based on the similar imaginative lines. It is a new suspense-thriller that is hitting the theatres today with super star cast of Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonal, and Mrinalini Sharma.

The story tells of a young couple who are vacationing at the beautiful Fiji Islands, the young couple certainly is represented by Sam (Neil) and Sheena (Sonal). While they have just reached the holiday destination, Sam’s mobile accidently falls into the swimming pool. He therefore opts for a second hand 3G phone to stay connected with other people around. However, this becomes the biggest mistake of his life because he receives a video call one night on the phone. The video call is from the outer world, amusingly this is not Rakesh Roshan’s film so no its not ‘jaddoo’ or some weird alien, but it’s a ghost.

This movie debunks the accepted notion in Bollywood that only female characters can be (are) possessed by ghosts. For a change, this time it’s the male lead (Neil Nitin Mukesh) who is possessed by a ghost. What follows next is series of horror thrills where there’s wine, ball dance, passionate love making and mouth to mouth kissing between humans and the ghosts.

If you’re a freak and are not scared easily with ghosts, blood, and a supernatural wonder of 3G phone then you should surely grab the movie tickets to this one. One of the interesting factor for watching this movie is also the exotic location of Figi Islands, it is a must watch feature of this movie. Happy watching!

Jolly LLB Movie Review

Rating: 3 Stars(3/5)

Review: The movie Jolly LLB is about the life of a lawyer Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly LLB (Arshad Warsi) from Meerut. With the ambition to make his fame and name, Jolly decides to leave his family and love Sandhya (Amrita Rao) and moves to Delhi to get success in his career as a Lawyer. But life is not always easy and pinky as we think and it so did happen with Jolly. In the urge to earn lots of money, name and fame he gets himself into a case where he files a PIL. Here is fighting against the biggest and the strongest lawyer of the country Tejinder Rajpal (Boman Irani). The rest of the story is how Jolly finds the guts to fight strongly against the Tejinder Rajpal, who is trying to save his client even after knowing that he has rolled his car on six innocent and poor people.

Though Subhash Kapoor is known for his serious and impactful messages, he has used satire in this movie to get his point across. Very similar to the approach he used in his movie Phas Gaye Re Obama. Here in this movie Jolly LLB he tries to bring out the pathetic conditions of the Indian Law and its system using a lighthearted approach. A lot of melodrama can be seen the film.

This movie is a good way to refresh your mind. Book your tickets for the weekend and have a huge laugh.
