Life of Pi –An awesome movie that tells you the importance of Life

Life of Pi Review : This movie stars Suraj Sharma (Young Pi), Tabu (Pi’s Mother), Irrfan Khan (Older Pi), Rafe Spall (Author), Adil Hussain (Pi’s Father). The story is a flashback which is told by Irrfan Khan to the author Rafe Spall. He is narrating his experience and the story of what happened to him.

His family owned a zoo that had varied animals; they planned to shift to Canada to bring some changes in their life. They were going via ship through the Pacific Ocean where a strong storm hit the ship and all drowned. The only survivors were Pi , the Bengal Tiger, the zebra, an orangutan, a hyena. The other animals have also lost their lives and slowly the remaining ones die too. Pi is left only with the Tiger on the life boat.

The story goes in a different way not like the others. Here they don’t just become friends, but Pi has to do a lot of hard to keep the Tiger away from him and not eat him. He keeps feeding the Tiger with water, fish, etc whatever he finds edible, except him. There is anger, love and adventure.

PI learns how to live in the hardest of times. He was alone and no one to take care of him. He had to fight and win this battle on his own. He learned how to survive in the hardest times and circumstances. This story is brilliantly done with and the Young Pi has acted very well. Even Irrfan Khan has contributed largely to the movie and you will get emotionally attached to it.

What else has Pi gone through in this entire battle for survival? You will get to know all of this once you watch it. This movie has already hit the box office and people like Ang Lee’s work a lot.
