Thankful at having worked with "exciting
filmmakers" since his 2007 debut, actor Ranbir Kapoor Thursday declared
that playing himself in his impending release "Yeh Jawaani HaiDeewani" (YJHD) is "harder" than passing characters in his preceding
films.
"I am thankful that I got to effort through such good
directors. I was at the correct place at the right time... I got these chances
and I was bright enough to grab it.
"I think these (Anurag Basu, Ayan Mukerji) are truly exciting filmmakers. They have excessive things to say complete their movies... I just kind of tag alongside on their vision," said Ranbir here.
Son of expert actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Ranbir made his entrance in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2007 film "Saawariya", which didn't catch favour at the box office. Though, his work in his following ventures "Wake Up Sid", "Rochkstar" and "Barfi" won him tributes and awards.
Recitation his celluloid journey so far as "amazing", Ranbir approved that his passion and profession are the similar.

"It's been amazing. I don't know how these five years have passed... I don't identify how these nine films have released. I am really happy that I get to do what I love and I think what is significant is that you should do what you love," he said.
His following film is "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani". Directed by Ayan Mukerji it also stars Deepika Padukone.
"'Rockstar' and 'Barfi!' are far more cooler for me because I am playing a appeal. In films like YJHD, I have to play for myself, which is way tougher because you have to imitate your own character," he explained.
Produced by Dharma Productions, "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani", releasing May 31, also stars Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapoor.
