Review: Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns is certainly a film to catch up this weekend. The story moves on forward from the earlier part in this sequel of the movie. The Saheb (Jimmy Shergill) is now bound to the wheelchair as he has lost his legs and the Biwi (Mahie Gill) is still on a look out for love and lust but has now become a politician herself. In walks the Gangster (Irfan Khan) with a mission to kill Saheb as he has an age old rivalry with Saheb’s family.
The Gangster also happens to belong to a royal lineage but his entire family is destroyed by Saheb’s family and therefore, he seeks revenge by ending Saheb’s life. The viewers will find addition of several new characters in this part including Irfan Khan who fits in the role of Gangster perfectly with his timely wit, valor and dialogue delivery. Soha Ali Khan plays the role of a princess who is used as a pawn by her own father and she also plays a love interest of Irfan Khan in the movie.
The director, Tigmanshu after delivering exceptional hits like Pan Singh Tomar and Gangs of Wasseypur, is back again to his genius in this film. He builds yet another engrossing tale of the feudal power structure that hovers around the two characters that are so untouched by the democracy of the nation they live in.
The story is a masterpiece and talks about lust, love, lies, politics, power, lost glory and the desperate measures that a person would take to safe guard all that remains after losing the authority. Watch to know what happens in the life of Saheb, Biwi and Gangster, can they get what they’re striving for? Does Saheb get killed by Gangster? Will Biwi give in to Gangster and plot against Saheb? It surely is must watch melodrama to catch up with this weekend.
