Review: After much controversy and yet to resolve the ban case in Tamil Nadu, the film Vishwaroopam named as Vishwaroop in Hindi is finally out in the theaters all across India. This mega budget film is written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Hassan and he has also played the role of protagonist in the movie. The movie is set in the back drop of 9/11 blasts in U.S. that shocked the world.
The story is told through a not so happily married couple, Vishwanath and Nirupama. Vishwanath is a dance teacher in U.S. and marries Nirupama who has finished her doctorate in Oncology. However, she wishes to divorce her husband and so she hires a detective to find some proof of his infidelity and hence get rid from the unhappy marriage. But the story takes a new turn when in the process Vishwanath dies and his connections with Omar, a terrorist are exposed in the movie. The later part of the movie is all about finding out how is Vishwanth actually connected with the terrorist Omar, who in the movie is a left hand of Osma Bin Laden.
It is already a hit abroad and now its Indian audience’s turn to send out their verdict on the box office for this Rs. 95 crore film. If you’ve forgotten the thrill of watching a movie sitting at the edge of your seat then this is surely the one to grab.
